Once you apply, we’ll be in contact soon. We’ll be happy to answer all your questions then, but if you want to get a head start (straight-A student that you are), here’s a list of things many people ask:

+ Is restaurant experience or kitchen experience required?

No experience required. What’s most important to us is your energy, enthusiasm, your ability to move quickly — and your love for taking care of people. Our excellent training programs will get you up to speed on the rest.

+ How many hours are available per week?

Usually, we have part-time and full-time hours available. You must be available to work at least three days per week, and you must be willing to work on at least one of our busiest days: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

When you work at least the minimum, you’ll progress through all of our stages of training at a reasonable pace. That way, you’ll feel confident in what you’re doing and make a strong contribution to the team.

+ What station will I learn first?

New team members usually start by learning the basics and focusing on friendly interactions with guests.

+ How does training work?

Our training is progressive. Once you master a station, we’ll move you to the next station for training, and you'll continue to move forward from there.

+ Do I need to have open availability?

No. You can give us the hours you prefer, like mornings, evenings, or certain days. However, you’ll become adept at all stations in the restaurant more quickly the more flexible your availability is.

+ How does Tip Share work for the team?

Tips are pooled together and distributed every two weeks via paycheck, based on the number of hours worked. We LOVE Tip Share because it ensures that we work as a team!

The added bonus of Tip Share is that while we expect everyone to help on our busiest days (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), team members make the same wage any day of the week, making it easier to have a balanced schedule without having to worry about how it affects your income.

+ Do you offer parking for team members?

Yes.

+ How far in advance will my schedule be posted?

Our goal is to post schedules at least two weeks (or more) in advance.

+ Do you offer opportunities for career advancement?

Yes! We LOVE promoting from within. Nearly 50% of our management team are former team members. We also offer the opportunity to grow into a Shift Lead position, which is the perfect stepping stone into a management position with us.

+ When will I know if I’ve been offered a position?

Our hiring process consists of two interviews and a realistic job preview. During the realistic job preview you will have the opportunity to shadow a team member for four hours. As a thank you, we’ll send you $25 and invite you to enjoy a dine-in shift meal from the menu.

We’ll get in touch shortly after the preview to let you know if we have a position to offer you.
